MENders
Society hasn’t always made it easy for men to express themselves – especially when it comes to emotional things. Maybe it’s due to the lack of practice or the absence of great exemplars that some of us struggle. MENders is a safe space for anyone who identifies as male to show up and be accepted.
We try to normalize conversations about mental health because real health ought to address the parts of us that scales and x-rays can’t measure, right? Sometimes that means we talk about tough stuff. Sometimes we learn from one another. Sometimes we support one another through life’s challenging transitions. At all times you’re invited to dare to care and share, because when we do good things happen.
We’re glad you’re here and look forward to getting acquainted in our two weekly virtual meetings. This isn’t group therapy, but the guys agree the group is therapeutic. No pressure, no stigma, no judgement, just real talk (and real fun) with some guys who aren’t afraid of being real.

Man On a Bridge – Close Encounter on the French King Bridge
In early October those hills are absolutely stunning; crimsons, golds, ambers, with a few evergreens scattered upon them. But today it was rainy and especially in the very earliest light of the day, I wasn’t expecting to see a view that would take my breath away – but I was wrong!
